Don’t know what to wear to the airport? Read on.
Dressing for the airport is not an easy task. Usually, because I have already packed what I’m probably going to wear. Anybody with me on that? Nope, just me. Okay.
Anyways, you really want to be comfortable but you don’t really want to look like a complete slob. Especially if you’re seeing people you haven’t seen in awhile.
The above infographic does a really great job of putting together airport outfits, or even good travel outfits in general.
Purse advice: The bottom row is super important because you absolutely need a medium to large purse. DO NOT bring your cute little bag you take out to the bar with you. It will do nothing to help you while traveling.
Shoe advice: What do all the shoes pictures have in common? They’re flat! Well, the boots have a little heal. Please do not wear heels in the airport, it’s uncomfortable and honestly, a little dangerous. All of these shoes are also easy to get on and off, perfect for going through security!
Pants advice: Just try to wear something with a little stretch. I’ve done it all: yoga pants, jeans, shorts. I’ve been comfortable with all options as long as your bottoms have a little give. Although, my personal favorite is to wear a maxi-dress. It’s like wrapping yourself in a blanket.
Tops & Jackets advice: I love to layer, which is exactly what they did above. Try to go for a t-shirt or tank under a sweater so you can take your sweater off if it’s really hot on the plane.
Don’t forget your favorite pair of sunglasses! There’s nothing worse than being without them.
