It’s holiday party season, ladies! Have you already stocked up on the holiday party outfits you’ll wear for all the events lined up?
If the answer’s no, then slap me a high five! I tend to procrastinate when it comes to Christmas holiday party shopping because I’m too busy buying gifts for all my loved ones (and for myself). But now that’s it’s already December, I’ll do a bit of shopping and raid my closet for my holiday ensembles! Have a peek at some of my chosen looks below!
Holiday Party Ensembles To Choose From
I love a good holiday party. Who doesn’t? It’s an occasion to celebrate with family and friends and it’s also an opportunity to feast on some delicious dishes and scrumptious desserts.
But apart from the actual party itself, what I love just as much is the preparation that comes along in dressing up for the event. I get excited thinking about the clothes I’ll wear, the shoes to match, the makeup, and the right accessories to round the outfit.
1. Monochrome Lover
I’ll admit it. There are days when I go through a monochrome phase — even during the holidays. When this happens, I like opting for something that still shows a bit of Christmas. This sweater is the perfect example of that. This rocker biker boots will look perfect for this ensemble.
2. Preppy and Sweet
This is what I would choose to wear to an afternoon get together. It’s preppy — a style I absolutely adore — without being too casual. I love the hint of sparkle seen on the heel of the boots too. So cute! Don’t forget your scarf this cold season!
My friends and I have annual ugly Christmas sweater parties. If I don’t DIY my sweater this year, I’ll probably get something like this. I can’t resist Rudolph! Check out more ugly holiday sweater ideas here!
4. Ravishing in Red
I like wearing dresses that are loose at the stomach area — perfect for hiding the post-holiday dinner food coma — without looking too baggy. This red dress is perfect because it’s flowy and has a ribbon that cinches the waist.
5. A Touch of Gold
This outfit is a mix of ethereal and sexy, and I love it. I’ve always been a fan of gold and champagne colors because they look so elegant. Knowing that I can wear something like this to an event soon is already putting a huge smile on my face!
6. Casual Chic
My family usually celebrates the holidays with a big dinner sans the fancy dresses and suits. My dad says he likes seeing everyone relaxed and having a good time. I couldn’t agree with him more!
I love how this outfit is casual and chic at the same time. The hints of red and gold are my idea of impeccable Christmas style.
There’s never a bad time to wear LBDs. They’re one of my fail safe outfits for when I’ve forgotten to pick an outfit the night before. They’re so easy to accessorize too!
Let’s face it, ladies. Sometimes all it takes is a little black dress and some killer heels to turn heads. Wouldn’t you agree?
