Scrolling through images of popular travel destinations fuel my wanderlust and get me all sorts of excited for my next trip. Travel has always been one of my favorite things to do. It’s one of the reasons why I constantly hustle hard at work– so I can save up for new adventures to experience and more stories to tell.
In today’s article, I’ll be matching zodiac signs to their travel counterparts. I figured, for now, let’s start small and look at popular travel destinations within our home country. After all, we already have tons of things to see and try in our very own US of A.
Popular US Travel Destinations Fit For Your Zodiac Sign
One of the things I love about the US is how there’s always something special to see in all the different states. There are different cuisines to try, loads of museums and art to fawn over, and so many sights to behold. The best part is, all are just a road trip away!
When planning a trip to popular destinations, it’s important to think about what you and your friends are into. One way of doing this is by looking at your astrological signs. They say that each sign has its own personality, and along with that its own likes and dislikes. If you want to know the perfect popular travel destination for you, keep on reading and look for your sign below!
1. Aquarius – Las Vegas
People with the Aquarius sign love to have fun with friends. They hate anything boring so a quick getaway to Vegas would be something they’d enjoy. After all, there’s always something fun happening in Vegas. There are tons of shows to watch, several casinos to play at, and loads of clubs and bars to celebrate the night with friends.
2. Pisces – Long Beach Island
Unlike Aquarius, Pisces signs love unwinding and being at peace with their surroundings. They understand that being alone doesn’t necessarily result to feeling lonely and at times would prefer to be by themselves as they meditate. This is why a day or two spent at Long Beach Island would be perfect for them. The clear blue waters, and the peaceful sound of the waves crashing onto the sea — that is music to their ears.
3. Aries – Three Sisters Falls
The Three Sisters Falls in San Diego is just what the adventurous Aries needs. People with this sign tend to favor physical challenges and push themselves to the limit. I think that a trek to these falls is just what they’d need to have a good time and for them to realize just how strong and determined they are when it comes to finishing a task.
4. Taurus – Napa Valley
A Taurus would feel at home in a vineyard because it involves nature, it’s an ideal romantic date, and it allows them to see the process of how wine is made. If you’re a Taurus, do yourself a favor and book your next trip to Napa Valley. You won’t regret it.
5. Gemini – Los Angeles
Geminis love art, music, books, and sitting down with their best girlfriends over a good cup of coffee or boba tea. LA is one of the popular travel destinations for this sign because it has everything they could ever want. If they’re lucky, they might even spot a celebrity or two in Beverly Hills.
6. Cancer – San Francisco
Some of the things Cancers love about San Francisco are its architecture and views. Seeing everything from up top gives them a sense of relaxation, a sense of calmness over how there’s always a much bigger picture than what they realize.
7. Leo – New York
Leos love drama and theatre, which is why a quick trip to Broadway in New York is one of the popular travel destinations for them. If you’re a Leo, don’t pass on the city that never sleeps and book yourself tickets to every broadway show possible. You can thank me later!
You’ll also find great makeup products in the city!
8. Virgo – Lake Tahoe
People with Virgo signs love being one with nature. This shouldn’t come as a surprise seeing as Virgo is actually an Earth sign. If you’re a Virgo feeling the stress of the city life, it’s best to take a quick escape to Lake Tahoe. It’ll make you feel better in no time!
9. Libra – Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas
Libras are peacemakers at heart. They avoid conflict whenever they can and are drawn to beautiful things in nature. Have a friend who’s a Libra? Take care to bask in the beauty of the hot springs. She’ll love the company and will feel immensely grateful for the spontaneous trip.
10. Scorpio – Washington DC
They say that hell hath no fury like a Scorpio scorned. Scorpios are very intense people who value truth and loyalty with utmost importance. That being said, Washington DC, being a penchant for its significance, is something that would interest a Scorpio because of its rich history and beautiful architecture.
11. Sagittarius – Boston
A few things strike the heart of a Sagittarius sign: the outdoors, freedom, and philosophy. What better way to spend the weekend than a trip to Boston? While you’re there, don’t hesitate to follow the Freedom Trail or score tickets to a baseball game. You never know, you might even catch the winning home run ball on your next game.
12. Capricorn – Disney World, Florida
Capricorns are very family-oriented. More often than not, they’d try and make sure that they’ve got the entire clan with them. One of the popular travel destinations for this sign is Disney World in Florida. Did I mention there are 5 different theme parks to choose from? You could be there for an entire week and still not get bored from babysitting your little cousins and listening to stories of your parents of how you had so much fun during your first ever Disney visit. You have true #familygoals, Capricorn. A=Now, aren’t you a lucky one?
Ladies, whichever sign you are and whatever popular destination in the US you choose, I do hope that 2017 will be one of your most well-traveled years yet. There is so much to see in the world and not to mention, the country, that it would be a waste to just let the months pass by without grabbing the opportunity for adventure.
Let 2017 be the year that you work hard, and travel harder!
